Bobby Pace

Community College of Aurora

Bobby Pace serves as the inaugural Provost and Vice President of Academic Success at the Community College of Aurora, where he has previously served as Adjunct Instructor, Faculty, Chair, and Dean.

Having served in every level of instruction, Pace has a unique perspective regarding strengths and opportunities within the academy and has been able to leverage those to yield significant impact regarding reorganization and reform. Some of his major accomplishments include leading efforts within the academy to develop a division-wide equity commitment, reorganizing the entire division, integrating non-credit and credit programmatic offerings, leading and conducting the college鈥檚 first comprehensive academic program review resulting in the elimination of 30 programs based on faculty and chair recommendations, conducting the division鈥檚 first zero-based budget, and now  preparing for the college鈥檚 10-year reaffirmation visit.

Prior to joining CCA, Pace taught at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, and was a lecturer at the University of Colorado in Boulder. His educational background includes three political science degrees: a doctorate from the University of Denver, a master鈥檚 degree from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
