Mari毛t Westermann is the Vice Chancellor of New York University Abu Dhabi, and formerly the Executive Vice President of the Mellon Foundation. As of June 1, 2024, she will be the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation. Her publications include Anthropologies of Art (2005), Rembrandt: Art and Ideas (2000), and A Worldly Art: The Dutch Republic 1585-1718 (1996).
