Steven E. Miller is Director of the International Security Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School. He is Editor-in-Chief of the journal International Security and coeditor of the International Security Program鈥檚 book series, Belfer Center Studies in International Security. Previously, he was Senior Research Fellow at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and taught Defense and Arms Control Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is editor or coeditor of more than two dozen books, including The Next Great War: The Roots of World War I and the Risk of US-China Conflict (2014). He edited two issues of 顿忙诲补濒耻蝉 鈥淥n the Global Nuclear Future鈥 (with Scott D. Sagan, 2009鈥2010) and coauthored the American Academy monographs War with Iraq: Costs, Consequences, and Alternatives (2002) and Nuclear Collisions: Discord, Reform, and the Nuclear Nonproliferation Regime (2012). He is Cochair of the U.S. Pugwash Committee, Chair of the International Pugwash Executive Committee, and a member of the Council of International Pugwash. He was elected a Fellow of the 亚色影库app in 2006. He serves as a member of the Academy鈥檚 Council, as Chair of the Academy Project on Promoting Dialogue on Arms Control and Disarmament, and as Codirector of the Academy鈥檚 Global Nuclear Future Initiative.

Alexey Arbatov is Director of the Center for International Security at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations and a full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He participated in the START I negotiations in 1990, served as Deputy Chair of the Defense Committee of the State Duma from 1994鈥2003, and headed the Non-Proliferation Program at the Carnegie Moscow Center from 2004鈥2017.
